The Middlefield Lions Club was chartered in January 1957.  Since that date the club has become an intricate part of our community and lends support where we are needed.  Our club is one of the 46,000 Lions Clubs throughout the world.  And our members are part of the 1.35 million proud Lions who work hard to make our community, country and world a better place.  For more information, visit the Middlefield Lions Web Page.

Over the years people have remembered the Lions Club of Middlefield as the folks who sold light bulbs door to door, renovated Scout Hall at Levi Coe Library, had an annual carnival at the Peckham Field (now known as Peckham Park), raised money for eye research, collected eye glasses for the needy, made delicious sausage grinders at the Durham Fair and built the Covered Bridge and Pavilion at Peckham Park.

We have an annual Easter Egg Hunt at Peckham Park each spring before Easter for the children of Middlefield, Rockfall and Durham.  And we still make our famous sausage grinders at the Durham Fair.

We are always looking to host fun events that we can bring to the community to help raise money for our charitable giving.    Whenever our Lions club gets together, problems get smaller and our community gets better.
